We are delighted to be able to announce our very first charity football match, to raise funds for the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. The game will occur at 1 pm on Sunday 21st July at our home at Cedars Upper School.

Many of you will know Vinny's story and what the John Radcliffe Hospital means for Coach Deano and his family. This is why we are very excited to put on a great event that will hopefully raise money that will go towards helping the amazing staff and patients at the hospital.

But for this event to go ahead we need players — and lots of them.

So this is your chance to show your kids that you can play football too. You've had to watch them train with us every Friday or Sunday. Now it's your turn to play! Although you won't have all of the fun as we are looking to put on mini-matches for our youth players before and after the match.

Entry fee to play the match will be £38. This will include a V24 kit for you to keep (which will come in handy if this becomes an annual event), as well as £10 of your fee going to the charity.

We have set a maximum of 18 players per squad, so there'll be plenty of playing time — or rest time — available if you're worried about fitness. Players must be over 16.

Registration for this event will close on the 29th of February with a £25 deposit due by the 7th of March.
